We aim to produce products to the highest standards and qualities, so if any product falls below the high standards you expect, please write to us using the address on our contact page or give us a call – don’t worry, we’re nice!

Products containing seeds – germination

Whilst we aim to supply seeds of the highest quality and germination rates, we cannot guarantee 100% germination. However, if you find that germination is less than 50% then please contact us and we will supply a new packet of seeds.


Appearance of chillies

Chillies grown from our seeds are from the capsicum var. annuum family of chilli plants. “Chilli Willies” are a natural variety of chilli in this family and produce entertaining looking chillies. Although images of Chilli Willies on this website are real and natural, we cannot guarantee complete likeness as the chillies produced will vary from plant to plant and under different growing conditions, however we do recommend you read our growing instructions page to get the best results.

We can however guarantee that you will receive genuine Chilli Willy seeds and that you will be entertained by the natural variation as they all share this fascinating appearance, which makes them Chilli Willies!

 

Delivery information

Once your order is received and payment has been completed, we aim to dispatch your order with 1-2 working days. Unless specifically requested our items are sent via Royal Mail® services which do not require a signature, but depending on the size of the item someone may need to be in to take delivery if it is too big for your letter box. The same is true for international AirMail. If you are not even in the case that items cannot be posted through your letter box, then you will be left a card with instructions on how to collect from your local delivery office. Please read the details on the card for details on how long your item(s) will be held before being returned to us.

Although a signature is not required, we do however maintain proof of dispatch with the carrier in case your order is delayed or lost in the post. Please see our shipping & returns policy for more details.

If you do require a signature or you want to make sure your order arrives in time for a certain date then you can select the “Royal Mail Special Delivery” option which is a next day service in the UK, but you will have to make sure that someone is in to sign for the goods.

If you are ordering internationally and require tracking, please contact us and we can arrange a quote for you using AirSure, the signed for equivalent of AirMail.We are also happy to quote for an expedited delivery service if you require your items sooner than the estimated delivery times above. Please contact us and we can arrange this for you.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please see the guide below for estimated delivery times. Please note that although you will normally receive your order sooner than these estimates, we cannot guarantee these timeframes once your order has been passed to our carriers. However, if your order still has not arrived after 14 days for international orders (7 days for UK and EU orders)  then please contact us and we will look into this for you and offer a replacement if your order has got lost.


UK

1st Class – 1-2 working days.

2nd Class – 2-3 working days.

Standard Parcels (for heavier items) – 3-5 working days.

 

Europe

AirMail – 5-7 working days.

 

US & Canada

AirMail – 7-10 working days.

Last posting dates before Christmas

We know how busy the run up to Christmas can be – that’s why we aim to dispatch all orders on the same day (if you place your order before 12 noon) during this period to make sure you receive your order in time for the big day. Please see our Last Christmas Posting Dates for more information. If you require a guaranteed delivery date in the UK, then please select Special Delivery(TM) at checkout for a Next Day service before 9am or before 1pm. Signature required.

Although we will dispatch your items usually on the same day, we cannot guarantee delivery the closer you are to the last posting dates near Christmas, so make sure you allow enough time!

If you are ordering internationally and require a faster service than standard AirMail, please contact us and we will be happy to quote on an expedited delivery method of your choice to make sure you get your order in time.

Returns

Your right to cancel your order

If you want to cancel your order for any reason then please contact us within 7 days and we can issue a store credit or arrange for a refund to be made. Please contact us as soon as possible if you change your mind as we will be able to process your cancellation a lot more quickly if your order has not been dispatched.

 

All other returns

Every order placed with us is covered by our Returns Policy. If for any reason you want to return your item, for example you receive the wrong item, your order arrived damaged or you are unhappy in any way with your order, then we can help to sort things out. Customs and overseas orders – importation of seeds

Orders sent within the UK and Europe do not require a customs declaration for importing chilli seeds in retail packets.

However, if you are ordering from outside the UK and Europe we are required to fill out a customs declaration form which is affixed to your order. Most countries allow the import of seeds if they are retail packed, of a certain variety and below a certain quantity.

Chilli seeds do not normally require a Phytosanitary certificate for importation, particulary if they are for retail and are packaged as such.

However, please do check with your local agricultural department or customs to check whether you require a Phytosanitary certificate to import retail packets of chilli seeds. This certificate is to make sure the seeds are of proper variety and are free from contamination. Usually there is a small fee for this inspection.

We cannot be held responsible for the loss of goods and/or for any customs duties associated with the importation of seeds. By placing an order with us, you agree that the importation of retail packed chilli seeds is not restricted in your country, and that a Phytosanitary certificate is not required, prior to purchase.

A special note to customers ordering from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa: although we can send seed products to you as our seeds are a permitted variety (Capsicum Var. Annuum), we will have to remove any soil packs/soil pellets in any of our kits as these are not permitted entry. You will receive everything else as normal. You can use any good quality compost mix to replace the soil.
