Cross pollination!
Hi everyone, thought I'd post something about growing different types of chillies together if you were thinking of growing different varieties in the same place.
Chilli plants easily cross pollinate, thus merging characteristics together, including heat and appearance, so it's a good idea to keep them apart when the flowers come out and pollinate all the flowers with clean brushes on different plants so that insects don't mess up your varieties! This is probably particularly important with Peter Peppers due to their unique appearance. Hope this helps anyone that is thinking of growing a few different types of chilli together. PS. After the flowers drop and the chillies start to form they can be grown alongside each other, but only when all the flowers have dropped! |

It is possible but not likely. The main thing that is going to happen is that your sweet peppers are going to be hot and sweet.
